The Vaughan Rangers returned to Barrie to defend their tournament title and entered the semi final as a wild card. After a grinding game against the Toronto Wolverines in the semi final we would face the Duffield Devils in the final game. The boyz played with heart and battled all game to defeat them 4-0 and capture the Glenn Bellerby Memorial Banner!!! Thank you to all the parents and players for making this weekend a success. What an exciting weekend as this group of boys needed to bring nothing short of their best effort to make the finals. They worked through the high’s and low’s of the Barrie Tournament to capture their second tournament win of the 2012 – 2013 season. On behalf of the coaching staff we want to thank you the parents for your commitment and ensuring that your son was always prepared and on time. And to the players in coming together when it counted most, on the ice.

With all of the committed tournaments behind us; We should all be proud of the teams accomplishments this season and look forward to an exciting finish to the season and playoffs.

Hello everyone,

So by now everyone’s heart rates have returned to normal and therefore I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the players, parents and coaches for all the support we received last weekend in the Vaughan Ranger Earlybird tournament. The boyz came hungry to each and every game and Together We Ate, Literally!!!

The EAT, EAT, EAT chant filtered down to the bench as the team fed off of that support from the stands… We look forward now to this team doing some special things during the season.
